    <description>&lt;P&gt;It took some figuring out,but it is mostly done.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Basically what I had to do is loft the 3D rails for tubes then work from the resulting smooth surface.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(You could add at least some minimal explanation for others that happen upon this thread)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Am I right in assuming the stripes are normal and can't be helped?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It looks like you've made changes in your Reference.ipt. If I'm updating&amp;nbsp;your last file with the reference, I'm getting back the geometry shown in my picture above.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Explanations: The best way is moving step by step through the browser tree, and looking at the intermediate results.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Stripes can't be made invisible in visible edge mode.&lt;/P&gt;
