Tangent Constrain to Loft surfaces

I need to show the arrangement of insulation pins inside the following transition piece.. How can I constrain to the lofted shape? Can it be patterned?

Hi!

To constrain the loft, you can use the origin planes or create extra work planes to constrain the model.

Yes it's possible to pattern the pins.

Couldnt open it as I am using 2021.. Could you please explain how you constrained using Mate? @CCarreiras

You have to create some extra features to help placing and pattern the pin:

First, create a sketch in the plane here the pins will rest .
Create a point to serve as anchor for the first pin. (i select the middle because it's easier, but you can select other location). Close the sketch.
Create a work point using the sketch point as anchor.
Create an axis with the pin direction: create an axis selecting: the work point and a perpendicular plane (i create a extra one, but you can use the center plane XY).

Now you have extra geometry to place the pin using the origin point, axis and planes from both models.
