topic Probe labels in Inventor Forum

I have just created an assembly and run an analysis, as an example if i look at the x displacement it shows the maximum and minimum figures, this is great, however what i wish to do is to apply some probe labels to show precisely where the max and min displacement occurs rather than just relying on the colour gradients, whats the best way to do this. One method i have used is to apply a probe to where i think this is but its a bit random.

I also notice that when i apply a probe the probe label often obscures the area of interest and the probe label line is missing.

Any suggestions please

There are a max and minimum bottons that do exactly that.

You can adjust the color bar range to show peaks better. The view labels can be dragged and then the leader arrow will show up.

If you need to investigate middle of part consider splitting the model and using frictionless constraints to simulate symmetry.

Take a look here.

Thanks salariua
I will have a look at your suggestion of adjusting the colour bar range, hopefuly this will improve the visual aspect.
Regards
Martin
