Feature on drawing does not appear in part model

Newbie.

I have a part that someone else created. When I create an engineering drawing, there is a cylindrical extrusion sticking out of it, but this feature is not visible in the 3D model. There are no extrusions in the 3D browser that correspond to it ... the thinking being that if there was, the visibility might be unset. But if I click on "Base1" in the browser (a third-level entry under an icon I don't understand) dash-dot blue lines appear, some of which are floating in space in the general vicinity of that extruded feature.

What are those dash-dot blue lines? How can I find and get rid of that extrusion feature?

Are you referencing an *.ipn?

Can you post some images of what you are seeing as well?

Is this part also possible a dumb solid? Imported from a different software and maybe you are seeing surfaces instead of feature faces?

While you're at it, I want to replace the four holes with three, and change the diameters. How can I delete or edit the holes and their arrangement?

And what are those blue lines and dots?

The blue items come from the "flywheel optira1) Base 1 feature. Simply RMB of the sketch and de-select the "Visibility" and this will disappear.

The four holes, can be closed off with a simple sketch on the flat center face, project the holes to the sketch and extrude to the other side. You can also use the "Feature Recognition" tool (can be downloaded from the "Autodesk Labs" or from the Application Exchange.

Possibly not. I'll check on Monday. BTW, I gave an answer "kudos" because it solved the problem with filling the holes.

The problem with the phantom extrusion still remains. I'll check on Service Pack and see what happens.

Attached are the part file and the drawing file. Note that the drawing has a feature on the axis of the flywheel which is not visible in the model.

I have updated to SP2 Update 6, Win XP

I do not see anything unexpected.

Can you do a screen capture with Microsoft Snipping tool, circle the issue and attach the image?

Circle this "central axial feature" that you are referring to.
