Include Wires in File Export

Good morning,

With all .stp files that I have imported to Inventor, there may be construction geometry present in the form of a group of wires.

When I export this model after making any necessary modifications, I do not see any settings in the "options" to again include these wires in my newly updated .stp file without first having to go through the process of creating sketches of all the wires.

Is there a modal option somewhere to allow my .stp files to automatically include construction geometry such as wires?

Hi! The geometry in the Construction folder will not be exported because it is consider "raw" data. You will need to promote those wires to a 3D sketch (right-click on the wires in the browser -> Promote). After that, the 3D sketch will be exported with the solid/surface bodies.
