Angled Geometry Text

Hello Inventor users,

I would like to ask you for the advice about Geometry Text option in Inventor.

I am trying to make a text like on the attached image. Is there some option to do it using Inventor (manual skecthing of letters is excluded) or this can be good request for Idea Station?

I think you'll need to play with the stretch options ...maybe Italic and the font ..

I've never seen an easy way to get what you're looking for ...

Hi Michael,

Using Italic option text is angled to the right side, my text is angled to the left side.

Having an ‘Oblique Angle’ parameter for text (like there is in AutoCAD) would sure make things a lot easier.

In the meantime, there is a way to model that, if needed – not sure if that’s what you need…

If it's the same one over and over ...can you just make an IDE /Ifeature sketch you can just add from your library.

I'm not sure if I've seen it go to the left

Actually, something that I need is little bit different.

Here is a model created in Creo by setting Slant Angle option.

unfortunately I'm at work ... and 2012 til May ..so I can't open it.

However, I've never seen a slant option that I can recall.

You can post this in the Idea's Station and include that picture....
