Would it be possible to assemble these parts together using constraints? please see zipped attachment for parts

Sure.. Looks simple..

How much training have you had?

Have you ever constrained anything before?

One tip: Don't forget that you can use origin planes,etc... to constrain with/to..

Is that image showing approximately how you want them constrained?

But you need to model your parts correctly first..

For example..Sketch 1 of Desmond, Wang Blade Design Part 6 has NO dimensions..

In fact most if not all of your sketches have NO dimensions..

So I'm not going to do anything until you fix all parts.. All sketches must be fully constrained.

Are you a student? If so you should ask your teacher for help..

If you can't model parts properly then don't even attempt to assemble anything.

Hmm, mcgyvr is ok with his comments.

Another common hint here is applying all Service Packs. But it doesn't influence your intent.

You can constrain your parts even with not optimal modeling, see attached 2016 files in Zip. But I don't know, where to place your Part1.

Ok. Let's try it.

Expand relationships in Blade.iam. After that you can move through the constraints. Best way is suppressing all of them, and re-enabling them step by step. You can see what happens by re-editing them without changes

- The first rotational joint aligns two points of both Part6

- The next Flush mate stops rotational movement between both parts

- After that an angular constraint between upper Part6 and Part3

- Then I created a center point on Part6 and aligned with the bottom of Part3

- Next was an axis to point constraint between Part3 and Part6

- Last possible rotation between both parts was stopped by Mate:4

- Now a tangent constraint between Part3 and Part4

- Next a mate between axis of Part4 and the workpoint on Part6

- Last was a Mate between midplane of Part4 and an appropriate point on Part6
