Design accelerator gears / splines module is not working

System: Windows 10, 64 bit system, Inventor 2013 Service pack 2 update 6. Nothing happens when I try to open anything in the design module such as splines, gears etc. Also, I am unable to place anything from the content center into my assemblies. Anyone have any thoughts as to what my problem may be? I am baffled.

Were they working?

When did you install/update?

Do you have content center etc. on a server?

These modules were working. I did notice that content center did not work prior to my installation of Windows 10. Installed windows 10 on May 20, 2016. Content center is located on my computer.

Hi,

Since it sounds like you have Inventor 2013 working on Windows 10, it's your content center that is the issue as that is where the design accelerator components are created from.

First, check you application options, content center tab and see where Inventor is pointed to for the content center source. Then check the location to see that all your idcl files are located there.

If you are using vault check to see that you are using a vault project file and that you're logged into vault.
