Structural Shape Parameter Mapping

How much of this do I need to fill out to use either "Frame Analysis" or "Stress Analysis"?

How do I put this information in the crossection ipt model?

Trying to make 6061-t6 Aluminum square and rectangular extruded tubes.

Base length for sure, and I would assume anything else that is required for FEA analysis. It wont know what to do if its not there? You can develop what is needed via excel and have it be calculated columns in family table so if you add new items it will auto fill out that information.

I don't think you need them for FEA.

The simplified "Ball and Stick" doesn't work well with different corner treatments.

It's faster to mesh everything.

It's for the simplified frame analysis, I think.

I believe others may be for regular analysis (non-frame generator).
