.STP to flat sheet metal problem

Hello,

I have a problem with attached .stp file. I need to do a flat sheet from this step. Unfortunately, there are a different thickness in some places. Iam trying to create a new .ipt file based on this .stp but when i try to do a first flange, right in this moment is a problem with creating a flat sheet (attached .ipt).

Have you any ideas, how the create this shape in sheet metal part with good result in fleet sheet?

I don't see this being able to be a Sheetmetal part ...

nor a weldment .... in the way you're showing it.

this is a formed /stamped part

Without even looking at your part, as soon as you state "different thickness", this part can't be a Sheet Metal part as it requires a uniform thickness.
