ifeature with chamfer fails (only when changing and customizing the Icon in ifeature)

Hello All,

I am curious if someone in this community has run into this. I created an ifeature that works flawlessly until I try to change or customize the icon within the ifeature. If i change it, the ifeature seems to lose data including parameters i had entered as values. When applying the ifeature to my component it fails to build the chamfer and complete the ifeature.

Changing the Icon isn't a must have for me, so i will probably steer clear of customizing these. This to me seems like a programming bug, but i am fairly new working with ifeatures.

Hi! It should just work. If possible, please share the ide file and the source ipt file. I would like to understand the issue better.

Attached is the source file and a test ipt. I tried attaching the .ide file but was getting errors when attempting to upload it.

you might be able to replicate it. extract ifeature from these features on the source file.

I used the parameter names from the sketch for the sizes.

I didn't have any issues with the ifeature until i change or modify the icon for the ifeature.

I have extracted the iFeature and edited the ide file -> Change icon. It seems to work fine for me. You may attach the ide file by zipping it up.

Many thanks for sharing the ide file! I took a quick look and compare it with the one I extracted earlier. It seems that this ide contains one additional geometric constraint (center point). The one I extracted did not have it. How did you create this ide file?

when extracting ifeature, right-click on "reference point1" and select expose geometry.
