      <title>Mate &amp; Angle constraint</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In order to stop WASHER rotates I tried to Mate origin plane with washer plane but it didn’t work but Angle constraint stopped washer rotation.       <description>What are the references you have used?&lt;BR /&gt;If you put between the shaft and the washer, it is possible that the shaft can rotate.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;because it may not be perfectly on the same plane height etc .. I don't have the model to say 100% ..but I'm betting:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You also already have mate constraints, so it would only want you to do the Angle, or it would consider it over-constrained/conflicting if something changed, and you'd then have to go back and delete or suppress the bad /corrupt constraints.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As you learn more and more about constraints, you'll learn what is needed where ...and why.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Post your iam (and ipt) files if you can't figure it out..&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The mate constraint "should" work assuming everything is centered about the origin planes and you picked the right solution option for&amp;nbsp;the mate constraint.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Then if you do want to lock its rotation you can use a mate constraint from origin plane to origin plane..&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Or you could use joints and only need to apply 1 joint to place and lock its rotation..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If answer is no, and you use sides to mate - will the workplanes be lined up?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Or will the sides of the part be mated against each other on one side with clearance on the other side?&lt;/P&gt;
