Create flat pattern not working

I converted a 3D part file to sheet metal. I then tried to create a flat pattern from the new sheet metal part. Having no luck I checked all sheet metal parameters and even went back and checked the original sketches to ensure there are no glitches with the original part. After many attempts I still can't get a flat pattern to develop from the sheet metal part. (attached)

I've already generated some other flat patterns in the same manner described from other parts. I've tried this part at least ten times with different scenarios ( radius changes, sheet metal parameters) but still can't make it work.

What is the modeled Thickness of your part?

(Hint: It can't be manufactured.)

(Hint #2: It isn't uniform thickness.)

The thickness is .06 inches or 16 ga.

Nope. Check again.

You have several dimensions that are not measurable and therefore not manufacturable.

I generally work the other way and use the extrude to surface, thicken and convert. This provides a uniform thickness.

Hint #4. Your very first dimension is incorrect.

Not a good way to start.

Sorry for the late reply.....internet issues on this end!

Thanks for your input on this. I developed tunnel vision and could not find my error. I must have used the distance tool 50 times checking the thickness not even realizing I should increase the decimal places. I'll have to pay more attention to my sketch skills and settings in the future.

Brand new for Inventor 2017 R2

Improvements to Measure Command Precision

Visual enhancement: A check mark now displays next to the default Measure Distance, Angle, Loop, and Area Precision value when you access the list for the first time in a file. Previously the check mark only displayed after you made a selection.

Inventor 2017: The checked measure precision value now persists across sessions in all files. Select a different measure precision value to change the default measure precision value. Previously when you changed the Precision value in existing files, the change was not maintained after saving, closing, and reopening the file.

Important: When you create a new template file in any new version of Inventor (for example Inventor 2017 R2, R3, 2018, and onward) the default measure precision value must be set in both Document Settings Units tab Modeling Dimension Display fields and in the Measure Precision value dialog box.

You have to create the flat pattern in the part modeling environment first. Make sure it can be created there, then go back to drawing file and try again!
