Decrease bolt length in Inventor

When using the Bolted Connection Component Generator, Inventor generates a bolt that is much too long. I have discovered how to lengthen a bolt, but I cannot seem to figure out how to decrease the length of a bolt. Is there someone who would mind assisting me? Note: I know I posted to the Inventor - Deutsch board and this is clearly in English, but I could not select an English board from the drop down menu.

Hi,

You can change the length of the bolt by selecting the red arrow in the component generator and drag it up or down.

That seems to only work to lengthen the bolt, not shorten it.

My first thought was that the bolt inserted is the shortest length available in that Family in the CC library.

All the instructions only lengthen the bolt, not shorten it. I'm using a .125 (#5) in slotted round head machine screw. It's 1 inch long. Is that the shorest screw of that type in the library?

You need to enter and edit the CC bolt tables in order to change any parameter of the bolt.
