Automatic numeration - leader text

Hello again

I have easy question for you. Is there a posibility to make automatic numeration by leader text? What I mean I will explain below step by step.

So I have assembly with a lot of parts but some of them are the same. For full traceability it must have an individual number. I want to describe them with leader text made in this way.

I the place of "*" I want to have numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. to receive this effect.

Is there a posibility to make it automaticly instead of writing it manually to each leader text?

If the answer is "yes" I have another question - Is there a possibility to make that from specified value for example 3 and obtain 3, 4, 5, 6 etc?

Hi! It looks like you are trying to create balloons with part number in drawing. If yes, why don't you use balloons?

There is a way to do what you are asking actually. You could define a new sketch symbol. Here is what you need to do.

1) Go to Annotate -> right-click on Sketch Symbols folder in the browser -> Define New Symbol. You will see sketch environment.

2) Create two separate format text objects. In the first one, select Properties - Model from the dropdown on the left and PART NUMBER on the right -> click Add Text Parameter button.

3) For the second text object, select Prompted Entry.

4) Finish Sketch and enter a name for the new sketch symbol.

Now when you will see the new symbol listed under Sketch Symbols folder in the browser. You can double-click it to insert and then select a component edge. You will see the Part Number is automatically populated and you will be prompted for a number.

How to define "start point" of leader text? I want to obtain this effect:

Hi Tom,

I could be wrong but I don't think there is a way to change where the leader line starts. It seems to always start from the center of a sketch symbol.
