here is what they save about the Audio notification

Note: This is one of the first changes I do when I get a new version.. I turn it off!!!!! I actually import my Applications normally each time, but it I don't, it's manually done.

Hi fiatnm,

The Audio Notification file is a "somewhat" long file to execute in terms of processes, so sometimes when we're working Inventor must do something that prevents it from having time to play the sound, so it sort of gets skipped. This happens more, when we have a slower machine, or an assembly that requires some thinking on Inventor's part. Example: Adaptive parts must process to update.

I think many people turn it off, and forget about it, and then just watch the constraints in the browser, as mcgyvr suggests.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
http://inventortrenches.blogspot.com

I also look at the lower right corner too ...

I look at the total number of constraints still needed and I see if it goes down by 1 ... then I know it worked.

But I've gotten use to using insert for Fasteners and having 1 left ...
