Spline and Fully Constraint Sketch

This Spline needs 8 dimension to become fully constraint sketch. I wish to know is there any other method to make Spline Fully Constraint Sketch. Because I want to design a wheel with curved spoke.

Have you studied the concept of interchangeable parts?

Have you studied the concept of the scientific method (reproducing results by following prescribed steps)?

Right click on the sketch in your file and turn off dimension visibility.

Start a new part file.

Go to View tab and Tile the two screens side-by-side.

Create exactly the same geometry in the new file.

What information is needed to accomplish this task?

That is a problem.

This field of study (mechanical design) is heavily dependent on a strong background of science and math.

Have you heard of the "Cartesian Coordinate System"?

Hi,

All your dimensions seems ok to be fully constrained but your reference point is pink. That is not good. I suggest to re-project your point and then redo all your constraints. That should work

Oh and if you are lazy, you could ground everything but that's not the best idea.

You're learning from a cartoonist.

Not a CAD designer.

In animation, size doesn't matter. Just scale it so it looks "right".

In CAD size - dimension is everything.

The video is using IV like 3D animator/modeller.

Spline use control points. Each point need x, y to fix.

Simple geometry.

Follow JD's instruction.

He is CAD professor.
