Auto zoom in Sketch mode

I would very much like to see Inventor take on the same automatic zoom that Solidworks has as a standard. When I open a new file to make a brand new part and I start a sketch, draw a shape and add a dimension I want my work space to zoom out to see the entire sketch rather than staying zoomed in to approximately a 1" square at the origin. If this is something that IS a choice and I just need to check-mark a box, please let me know so I can enjoy that feature again! After using Solidworks for so long it became natural and really threw me off when I came back to Inventor.

When Sketching select the Zoom All on the View cube navigation toolbar or the "Home" button on your keyboard. Granted its not an automatic thing but one click or one button.

Or define your initial view setting in your template document settings so that it matches the common part sizes that you make.

There is also the "Initial View Extents" settings in document settings..Modeling tab..

If you are always doing parts around the same size then set the initial view extents to that and it won't be that 1" box but a 12" or whatever you want..

Its not as nice as solidworks functionality though..

Note: you must also your template set to immediately start a sketch on a specific plane for that setting to actually do anything (application options..part tab..sketch on new part creation options)..
