Hello, can i ask how does the slicing algorithm works for 3d printers? As i wanna do some editing of layers, i have basic knowledge of what the g codes do, but i just do not know how it is programmed, can someone help me? thanks
Sincerely gabriel

Why aren't you editing the 3d model itself and then redoing the slicing/gcode generation again?

Why do you need to edit the layers?

Not sure why you think knowing how the slicing algorithm is going to help you at all..

Its pretty darn complex and not something you need to worry about unless you are writing software to create your own slicer program..

Well... This isn't a 3d printer support forum but if you can provide sufficient details on the problems then someone might be able to help here.. myself included..

WHY? There is NO need to edit the code.. Rectraction/temperatures are settings in the software or your printer for that material...

I guarantee you do NOT need to manually edit the code or modify the program to take care of your issue.. Its simply settings you change and has nothing to do with the algorithm to develop the layers..

If you really think you need to know how Cura works then go here and discuss directly with the developers..
