Reveal hidden messages

Something that's bugged me for years in Inventor, is when a message (such as "do you want to check out xxxx") gets hidden behind the Inventor window sometimes. Inventor is that there waiting for me to do something, but the button I need to press is hidden. Does anyone know how to bring these messages to the front if they get stuck behind the IV window?

Try Alt Tab, but you have to know they are there.

Alt-Tab doesn't work for me in this scenario. I only have one Inventor window showing and the dialogue does not pop to the front when I alt-tab. I set dialogue boxes to pop up on the second monitor thru NVIDIA settings, but that doesn't help either. I only catch a brief glimpse of what it was when I hit enter. (Escape just cancels.) Does anyone have any other ideas?

There's nothing much to see. If I do nothing, nothing happens. If I hit enter, the checkout part? dialogue flashes briefly as if it had been there all along and was just closing.

I often run into the same problem. From my programming background I see it is a software issue. It's not impossible to keep a window on top of everything, but you have to write your application to do so. Look at the Windows Task Manager : it is impossible to cover.

Cycling through applications with Alt-Tab will bring the dialogue in view, but not always. If it fails I go through minimising all the other windows until the dialogue is the last one standing.
