What version of Inventor

Do you have Excel on the pc

Hello, first thank you! I use the version 2017, I excel 2010, but I think it's perhaps a problem of graphics card, because the PC is perhaps a little 'old (but not too). As an example, I can say that working on a box of rectangular shape, I wanted to create a hole with a thread inside, but clicking on the thread command window with options not open, as if he does not accept the command. Subsequently, the program crashed, with graphics card error.
thank you

You can try this to bypass the need for excel for threaded holes..

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/not-able-to-create-thread-in-Inventor-2016.html

As a temporary workaround, you can create the following Environmental variable:

Go to Control Panel > System> Advanced System Settings> Environmental Variables button on the Advanced Tab.

Create a new Environmental variable called "UseLibXL" with a variable value of 1

Retry your clearance/threaded hole creation in Inventor.

Restart Inventor and try again

@Anonymous Note that this only works for threads.. If you need to do iparts or iassemblies then you will need to get Inventor and Excel working together again properly.. But if you don't then you are good to go..

Autodesk seems to be slowly transitioning away from a dependency on Excel and they just haven't enabled a non-Excel workaround for iparts/iassemblies yet..

When doing threaded Holes it is absolutely critically important to use the Hole feature tool.

Also, as you have found, you should have MS Excel installed.
