      <title>Copy with Mates Inventor Function</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just some background - I learned Solidworks and used it for years before I learned Inventor.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In solidworks there was something called "Copy with Mates" - basically it allowed you to copy components, and it opened and interface for you to to go thru the mates of that specific component and choose to reuse or substitute mate references. I found that super helpful for aluminum extrusion assemblies - specifically modeling in the corner brackets &amp;amp; end caps etc&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="ablountE9KSN_0-1743106530334.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1482774i4EA2E13F9188AC90/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="ablountE9KSN_0-1743106530334.png" alt="ablountE9KSN_0-1743106530334.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have this extrusion assembly that I manually constrained each corner bracket and I'm wondering what is the faster way to do this. It wasnt bad for this small extrusion assembly - but for larger ones this would be very time consuming.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
