Good Afternoon All

I'm a relatively new user coming from Solidworks Making my way in Inventor, I've hit a snag that seemingly I expect to be a very simple operation but I cant figure out how to execute, Perhaps someone can assist.

I have Multiple Rectangular holes within an Extrusion and I need to apply a Two distance Chamfer to the edges I can Create the feature with single Distance Chamfer and even Angle Chamfer, but the feature seems to fall flat when I select Distance Chamfer (and only allows me to select a single edge)

I'm confident I'm missing something very simple here because it doesn't make sense that one modifier would not be permitted to select multiple edges. (or perhaps I've stumbled on a bug?)

Using Inventor 2017 Build 233 2017.3

Its just how that one works (for some silly reason)..

You can select multiple edges (or a loop really) when they are tangentially connected.. (like with a slot)

But rectangles must be done one edge at a time..

I have NO idea why that "limitation" exists..

well that was unexpected I was sure it must have been my error .. this does seem like a very odd limitation.

Please show your support for adding the ability to select multiple edges with distance-distance chamfers by giving kudos to this ideastation post..

This is not a solution to your exact problem, but it is a work around.

Instead of a two distance chamfer, in some situations, a distance-angle chamfer can be used. Do a little trig and voila! The desired result can be achieved, and distance-angle allows selection of multiple edges.
