Hi Gregory,

The behavior does sound like hardware related. Your machine has a dedicated graphics card. But, it does not mean Windows is using it to run Inventor. Please share your hardware profile with us. Start Inventor and open a part. Go to Tools -> Application Options -> Hardware -> Diagnosis -> paste it to a text file or an email and send it to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com).

Many thanks!

While working in Inventor 2016, my screen went black momentarily, then this dialog box came up. Do I need to be concerned? Do I need to adjust something?

I did save my documents, and I think I have had this happen before, but it's been a while.

I asked my IT, and they said another team member had a similar instance recently, and why don't I ask Autodesk?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Pat

Appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I updated the drivers and reinstalled Inventor 2018 and I am still getting display driver crashes. I have over 300 hours in this install on this hardware and this problem just started. I am running an i7 8700k and a Nvidia 1080Ti. I know that this isn't a supported card, but I don't think that is the issue because of the amount of time I have already spent using it without issue. I think maybe there is a driver compatibility issue that has been introduced with either a recent Nvidia driver update or Autodesk Inventor update or both.
