Base view missing command tab

Hi all!

I'm working on Inventor 2016 and i have to do a drawing but the base view command tab doesn't appear when i click on it (as in the image attached). This also happens with the iProperties tab.

Have you installed all Service Packs and Updates?

Have you been using two monitors (could it be off of the edge of the screen)?

i guess so, last week i worked normally with drawings and all the commands.

No, i only use my laptop.

Sergio,

Welcome to the forum.

Are you talking about this not showing up?

If so, is it possible if you are using a laptop it is hidden behind your main Inventor screen? I sometimes will disconnect my laptop from the docking station which is connected to 2 monitors and use the single flip up screen attached to the laptop. Clicking through and on programs, sometimes windows don't show up because they are either hidden behind other windows or off screen because they were previously on the second monitor.

Maybe the dialog is coming up off screen, as described at this link:

i already did what is shown in your blog but the dialog stil doesn't appear, it moves but doesn't show up. A video of the process is recorded from Screencast.

Maybe the Inventor Reset Utility will fix it.
