Hi all.

I'm testing Inventor with A360. I configured an ipj file with 2 paths: workspace and content center files. I can design my iam with content center parts, and these parts are uploaded into 360. This is good and works fine, but when I go to the web site to see my files in 3d, the view iam, the file doesn't appear in the content center files. Why? what should I do to see these files?

I'll also relocate this over to the Inventor Forum since that might be the better team to review this on their end.

EDIT: Miquel, please confirm that you're trying to upload into your DRIVE here. IF SO, then as the below states you'll need to create a Team hub (fusionteam.autodesk.com) in order to see the Assembly Upload option.

Hi Miquel,

Did you try the below steps when uploading the assembly and referenced part files? Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

______________

When you upload using the Assembly option, you want to be sure that you're following the below steps.

You can NOT use the Assembly option in your A360 DRIVE, only within your Fusion Team hub does the option exist.

Put all files in same folder (parent and children)

Check link paths in parent file so they correctly reference the children now that they've moved into the same folder.

Select Assembly upload option, choose Parent file, then Upload button.

If using AutoCAD files with ref files, use eTransmit to package everything up first, or if using Inventor, then use the Pack and Go feature.

Hi, I tried to move all content center files to the same folder where is the iam file. And works fine.

But if we are working with a single ipj with library folders to share our projects and workspace folders... this workaround isn't a practical solution for us. A360 drive shlould be able to see the iam... it is my opinion... and doesn't move all files all time to see iam in A360 drive.

What do you think about it?

Of course, it is very unpractical in your design when everything needs to be in the same folder. It's just not supported yet, you will have to wait a bit for them to sort out this functionality. Right now whatever you write in your project file doesn't matter.

But I need to agree with you that it makes the functionality a bit difficult to use.
