If it works there it should work in the other..

Check to make sure your local style for that appearance is actually transparent and ensure you have assigned that appearance to the proper multi-solid body..

Hi! You may want to check where the appearance style is applied to. If it is applied to the feature generating the body or a face, transparency would be off. It is because it would look odd when you look into inner faces of the model. If a transparent appearance style is applied to a solidbody, it should work.

On top of my head, I can think of one particular workflow leading to this behavior is Make Components or Derive. If you have a transparent appearance style like Glass applied to a body in a multi-solid body part. Then you derive the solid into another part. The Glass will not look transparent. It is because the body appearance is downgraded to feature appearance (Derive). On 2013, you will have to use Clear tool to remove appearance override to the solidbody in the derive part and then manually apply Glass to the derived solid body. On 2016 and later, there is a more automated approach to this workflow.

Many thanks!
