&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Inventor only does FEA linear analysis.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You will have to performs non linear (and transient) analysis.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You have to use powerfull analysis tools to perform that.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I guess you can use Nastran for inventor to achieve better results.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Car crash test</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am trying to simulate Car Crash test for Car chassis.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to simulate car crash test in Autodesk inventor say for different speed and different kind of collision to study the failure in body parts?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have attached photograph of chassis that needs to be tested.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
