Problems creating a corner seam between two flanges of a different degree

Hey guys, this has been an issue for a while, sometimes I can figure out work-arounds for it, but its really stumping me right now. I've got a skewed face on my part, with a top flange at 90 degrees. Now I need to build 1.5" flanges off of the side of the top flange, and off of the side of the skewed face, and I need the corner to meet up. No matter what I do, I can't get it to create a seam. If I tweek the degree of the top flange so the end of it lines up better with the skew of the face, I can get a skeleton view of how it should look, but when I click apply I get an error. If none of this makes sense, I've included some pics. Thanks guys.

Please post the ipt file and state the version of Inventor you are using..

Around here we would MUCH rather see the ipt vs images.. images are find to show the intent but including the ipt with that helps a lot and allows us to simply open what you have..see what if any mistakes you may have,etc...

I've looked at your file a few times now and I can't figure out what the issue is. I can't seam to spot anything with the flanges that is preventing the corner seam from working? But I thought I'd give this a bump.

Thank you guys, I have found the solution and I must admit it's a bit embarassing.

Basically, my top flange that I had at 45.7 degrees in order to match the skew of the panel was not correct. I had my angle dimension decimals set to 2 decimals, when I set it to 8 and re-checked the angle of the skew on the panel face, I got the true angle of 45.69586594. When I plugged this number into my top flange angle, and THEN tried the corner seam, it worked.

Ah-haaaaa! I looked at the face sketch, and the parameters, but I missed that too.

You might be aware of this already, but you can avoid this kind of thing in the future by linking the parameters as shown in this video.
