Dear fellow engineers

I have a small problem i.e. I cannot make appropriate phase on a pipe that will be welded to bigger pipe . Position 1 is the surface that must have 45 grades in cross section to surface with position 2.

Do you have some solution that you could share with? Any quick and good reply would be appriaciate:)

Share what you have ...

but looking at it, Not sure why a sculpt some over removal tool wouldn't get what you're looking for

Hi! Indeed, the angle-width chamfer command in assembly and part does not keep the angle relative to the cut face here. This is a limitation. The only way to do that is to create a guide surface sweep cut in part environment. You need to create a chamfer like section profile at 45 degree. Then sweep around the cylinder and use the cut face as the guide surface.

If the feature has to be at assembly level, then there is no workflow allowing you to do it at the moment.

Many thanks!
