Inventor to Catia detailing workflow

In an effort to collaborate with our parent company, I need to design a workflow for detailing Inventor parts and assemblies in Catia. (I know, I know... Corporate initiative...)

I'm wondering if there is a way to export from a given part/assembly, all the hole callouts and tolerancing to an excel file (or similar) which can then be imported into the Catia (dumb model), at a minimum for referenece when the enginers are detailing.

No, as far as I can tell Step 242 (which is what I am using), is just a dumb model upon import, even if I re-import back Into Inventor.

My understand is that stp 242 will support 3d annotations. Would it be ok to promote sketch dimensions or create 3d annotations in Inventor, export as a stp242, then import into Catia and display the 3d annotations in the Catia drawings?
