Here is the part with ilogic i am setting up. it might be what you want. You can copy the just modify the values as required. The dimensions are from my Alro steel book. For some reason though, it is doing my schedule 40 and schedule 80 backwards. I also am just beginning to use ilogic so there might be better ways.

Hi guys!
So, I'm trying to make a template pipe ( without using a sketch and an assembly to insert a pipe ..)

I think an ilogic rule could do it linked with an excel file.

I want to be able to : create a new template, select my pipe size, select my schedule, and set my length on the same forms at the creation of the pipe..

Im currently learning the ilogic and I'm not sure how to do it..

How would you do it?

Thanks!

Math

@Anonymous

Seems like it would be much easier and faster to do all this using the piping information from content center. Yes not every configuration is there but you can create your read/write library and add the data. Anyhow my 2 cents.

Thanks Mark, actually, I was using the content center before , but my bill of material need to display exacly the material and the description as my boss want it..

We have some special number/material code for the pipe that need to be displayed in the BOM.. ( ex. sa 106 gr b = P-BA )

If I use the content center, I need to overwhrite all the infos in the BOM.. (I want the BOM to be automaticly filled )

Maybe there is a better way than Ilogic ...
