Off-White colored block on drawings?

Does anyone have this happen to them on their drawings? The back ground is white space and there's this off-white colored block the views. It doesn't seem to appear in the PDF's, but it shows in the Preview and it comes out on paper prints. Version is 2023, but I've seen this sporadically for years.

I don't think I've seen that. But I've seen something that is sort of an inverse of it - portions of a shaded view (or occasionally an entire view) changing to the background color instead of the correct shaded colors. Might be related, might not.

Usually I can move the view slightly on the sheet and it will refresh properly. Sometimes it's necessary to turn shading off and back on for the view.

Hi! This usually means some sort of corruption. Try this. Copy the view from this sheet to another. Or, copy the sheet from this drawing to a brand new drawing. Does the block go away?

Many thanks!

For this view alone, I turned of shading and did a print preview and the cream box was gone.

Turned shading back on and did a print preview. Cream box was back.

I'm not sure how to COPY a view somewhere else. I do actually have two sheets in this drawing. I tried MOVING this view from Sheet 1 to Sheet 2 and the cream box followed to the other sheet. Moved back from Sheet 2 to Sheet 1 and the box followed.

Started a new drawing and copied the entire sheet from the original drawing to the new drawing and the cream box followed along right into the new drawing.

Have you already tried Suppressing and Unsuppressing the view? I've had some stubborn graphical glitches that I've resolved that way. I don't see where that's been mentioned in the thread so far, but I don't know what you've already tried on your own.

Other than that, I'd suggest getting your files to Johnson to see if he can do anything with them.
