Feature Recognition for Part Imported from AutoCAD

I recently imported an assembly from autocad to inventor but need to be able to edit the part features if a change happens in the future. I have tried using the feature recognition and it does recognize them, however the features do not show up after I leave that screen. Attached is one of the parts. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are you attempting to have it automatically translate all features?

To me - that would imply that the entire part is wrong.

I prefer to manually select features to translate when using Feature Recognition and only do the features that I am actually going to change.

There is also the option of using the Direct Edit tools.

I noticed that the holes in this part are flat bottom.

That would make these a good candidate for Feature Recognition to convert them to 118° drill point holes.

I created a video of my process that I will upload once it is compiled.

I didn't watch Jeffrey's video at full length, and I've tried a different method.

The reason why FR doesn't run through the whole features is the chamfers ending in outside arcs. FR can't handle this.

Therefore I made a cut, copied the part to construction after Copy Object, deleted all in modeling environment, copied the Solid in CE back to ME, and could recognize all features now.

After that chamfers need to be re-built, and some patterns of holes, like Jeffrey showed.

Thank you for the help! This video was definitely what I needed to show me what I was doing wrong with the feature recognition.
