Auxiliary view export to dxf/dwg

I've got an Inventor dwg with multiple sheets that I'm doing a "save copy as" to a dxf and only the base and projected view geometry show up in the resulting files, however it doesn't include my auxiliary view. It will include the geometry if I uncheck "model geometry only" but that obviously includes a ton of other stuff annotations/etc that I don't want and have to clean up if I don't have to. Is there a way to get it to include auxiliary views in the resulted exported dxf/dwg file? The other option is to just place another base view of what I'm looking for but I'd much rather have it be an auxiliary if possible so it's still linked to the base.

Hi! The behavior you described sounds file specific. I am able to export auxiliary view to dwg without a problem. Could you share an example here or send it to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com)?

Is the drawing in Defer Update more? or the views in raster?

It's not in defer update or in raster.

I just tried with a brand new clean drawing and am getting the same result with a simpler drawing so maybe I'm doing something wrong if this is supposed to work.

Here's a screenshot/example of what's not exporting in case I'm describing it wrong.

I've sent off the file to Johnson as well.

Hi Evan,

Indeed, with Model Geometry Only option on, auxiliary views are ignored. I am able to reproduce it and it never seems to work. This is a great catch! I will work with project team to understand this behavior better and see how we can fix it.

was there ever any solution to this? I am trying to export from inventor but the aux views do not come over.
