Cannot open CATIA in Inventor 2016

i have a CATIA file that i cannot open in inventor. i have tried to save down in catia but still no luck (error attached). i cannot attached the catia file due to zip size being too large. any advise how to open in inventor or how to save down in catia

Here's what I would do..

First get a copy of it and place it locally and not on the network.

Use this and see what it looks like. Make sure there's usable data there.

If there is, open it locally and not across your network.

oh thats a big file..

Had my computer pegged at 4.96Ghz/93% processor utilization/7G of Ram usage for Inventor only for a good 10 minutes before I canceled out of it as it was still reporting only 40% (and had been so since minute 1)

I couldn't get it in 2016 (maybe the file is newer than what the translator can handle)

2017 (here is ref, but worked both ways)

2018, same worked in both translations ....

@johnsonshiue maybe can look at it
