authoring custom parts - component

I just discovered the authoring and I want to put my rivets into the content center with authoring but there isn't a spot for rivets under the fasteners. I tried Other but it asking for way more than is needed and which doesn't exist on a rivet. How can I get these rivets into the Content Center with auto drop attached. This would save us a TON of time.

Its quite old but I think it still applies.

Autodrop is available for fasteners but not rivets specifically under component authoring. The workflow for the fasteners should allow you to autodrop the rivets into place though.

I think your best option is to author the part as either a fastener or a washer or something.

Thanks, but is there a way to add a folder for rivets or no.

Unfortunately not otherwise it loses the component authoring information.

It will have to go in "other".
