Pause rendering in Inventor Studio

Hi. Can you tell me, how can I pause animation rendering in Inventor Studio? I render some animation in my notebook. The rendering process last a few hours. In this time I want to take my notebook to backpack and go to other city, so I want to put to sleep my computer, but I can't pause rendering process and resume after computer wake up. I don't want to carry rendering again from start. Thanks for you answers.

Hi @Anonymous,

I believe the process can only be stopped, no pause.

@S_May knows quite a bit about rendering and he is correct. If you are going to be doing this often, you could think about rendering the animation over a specific timeline, and then stitch them together with a post process program.

I have heard of people using uncompressed AVI files so if something changes in the design you can edit the video at a certain time stamp and not waste all the work you have done, just swap out the section you don't like.

Get real fancy and use photo editing software to overlay parts of the same video timeline.
