Hi,

It seem that most of linear lines are not parallel with the axis (with parallel constraint) and the start or end point is not add Coincident constraints.

So you can refer to the panel to add more constraints.

You constrain a 3d sketch in much the same way as a 2D sketch,

just the set of constraints is different

ie you are now constraining to axes and planes as well

If you want to ground it, use fix constraint on required point.

If you want to use it in a future assembly

constrain it in a relevant way to the orgin points, planes or axes,

so if you want to move it while you are in the middle of your design,

you can do it in a logical manner.

Hello! If Your sketch lines are not vertically/horizontally constrained - do that, but if they are - the reason that sketch is still underdefined (SW term?) is that sketch itself is not tethered to anything: just choose one of the corners or center of some line and coincident it with the center point.

Hope it helps. Good luck!

The file that I attached was created using Inventor 2018.
