    <description>&lt;P&gt;Please help me to fix this issue. we have installed PDSU-2016&amp;nbsp;our desktop which has the configuration of 32GB ram and NVIDIA QUADRO-4000 &amp;amp; 5000, Model is DELL PRECISION Tower&amp;nbsp;desktop. Actually when am opening big 3d/2d assy file am getting black screen after leaving inventor in rest for 15 mins, I have updated the latest drive and sp also still am facing the problem pleases help me to fix it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi! The behavior sounds like graphics related. Like Mike indicates here, please make sure Inventor runs on the dedicated graphics card. I believe Nvidia has an application to configure which graphics card runs which program. Please take a look at the following article and see if it works for you.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can this file/assembly be opened on another machine? (possibly bad file). Can you open other files/assemblies on this machine?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If it's hardware related, I would power-down the system, remove and reinstall the graphics card (might not have been properly seated). There should also be a couple of above-board power supply cables going to the graphics card as well. Make sure that both of these are properly seated as well. The card requires these additional power cables be connected. It will default to a low-res mode which will cause a black screen with Inventor.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This is also a good time to inspect all the cooling fans on the CPU and graphics card are clean and can freely spin.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
