Inventor Change Color of Unconstrained Line

Hi everyone!

How can i change the color of the unconstrained line to a green color so that it is easily seen if it is not constraint thanks.

Options -> Colors -> Color Scheme.

Not sure you can change the colors individually. But you can change the color scheme, which changes the background color as well as the line colors.

Hi!, Yannick I do not like to change the color scheme, the sketch color is what i would like to change. Thanks for your reply.

You can use the "Inventor color scheme editor" to change individual elements and even make your own complete color schemes..

I think there are no options for changing color. Only line color (like AutoCAD layer) changes.

That information is wrong..

This is mine for Winter Night in 2018..

Red is under constrained lines... the purple is constrained lines..

You can change those to whatever you want..

This is a screenshot of the "Inventor Color Scheme Editor" that I talked about above and the link shows how to install it

Yes, my information is imperfect. But I mean there are no options in Inventor settings. Your solution is another application and it is a good solution.

Im using inventor 2018 on a windows 10, I did try the link provided by mcgyvr, I've changed the color I've wanted then save it. Restart my machine then open inventor to see if it changes but man nothing happen its all the same so i checked the usertool again and the changes I've made is still there but its not reflecting in the inventor.

Make sure you are picking the correct registry version (if you have multiple versions of Inventor) AND that the selected color scheme is the same one you are using in Inventor.. (tools..application options... colors tab

2018 is Registry version 22..

Its working just fine for me..

it's working i thought the registry version is 18 since it is IV 2018 when i change to 22 then change some parameter then open inventor i'm satisfied now i feel like i'm the one driving the software and not the software is driving me thanks,
