Hi,

I've got the following error regarding a frame which i'm doing a quick analysis on - theres a single frame member that won't convert to a beam in frame analysis.

"unsupported member were found and will not be converted" - But i dont understand why, there are beams supporting it im using sections of the same size and thickness on other members, and they do work just fine.

The problem is with the following member:

Yes, this was build using the frame generator, It's a rough model originally delivered me as a Autocad 3D model. And since it was just supposed to be a quick check internally to see if it's construction was valid, it wasnt modeled in great detail.

Ive done some googling for this error, and cant seem to find any other posts about it. and the Inventor help page doesnt even list this error under the page of common errors and warnings..

Hi! There seems to be some sort of corruption or loss of association between the skeletal part and the Frame. If you change the dimensions, the particular frame member will fail to up. This might be the reason FA does not work with the particular member. You may need to delete the member and recreate it.

Many thanks!
