How do I remove origin planes from a pattern?

When creating a pattern in a part, (and perhaps an assembly as well) if an origin plane is selected as a feature to pattern, it seems to be there permanently. Has anyone found a way to remove one after the pattern has been created?

You should be able to click on the arrow near the pattern and see the patterned instances and then turn them off individually.

Thank you. That's what I've done for now.

But I don't want them OFF. I want them GONE. As in, not part of the pattern lurking in the background using system resources and waiting for someone to accidentally turn them on again.

Oh. Just reopen the pattern and deselect the origin plane by holding CTRL while clicking on the plane.

After testing I can confirm you cannot click on the actual plane to deselect it. You can click it in the browser, though

That wasn't working, but I've found the problem.

If the origin plane isn't visible, you can't de-select it. A highlight appears while you're editing the pattern, but it can't be selected. (facepalm)

Ah. That makes sense 🙂 Visible or not, you can always click it in the browser, though! 🙂
