Inventor Rotating An Assembly To Orient Specified Axis

I have an assembly that is shaped like an isosceles triangle. The short side is the base and the equal legs point vertical. I want to rotate the assembly so that one of the equal legs becomes the base. How can I accomplish this? I have created work axis through the side I want to rotate and at the base.

Can you attach the assembly here - or at least a screen capture?

Are you looking for mechanism motion

do you simply want to re-orient the assembly relative to top/bottom definition?

Hi! This largely depends on how you constrain the components. If there is a rotational degree of freedom at the base, it should work. If you cannot figure it out, please attach the files here. Forum experts should be able to comment further.

Use angle or mate constraints as needed..

You may need to unground any grounded components and modify other constraints..

Hello @Anonymous in you attached picture how are you constraining the smaller base to be vertical?

Delete all constraints to start fresh.
Create an Axis where the two long sides meet.
Constrain this Axis to the Origin Axis.
Constrain the endpoint of the smaller base to the Origin Plane.
