Adding Multiple Fillets in Sketch Mode

I often draw plates with many squares of varying sizes in them. Each square though has a .5 fillet in each corner.

It takes a while to click on each corner to add these features. Selecting a group of squares and choosing fillet

only adds (1) fillet to a random corner.

Is there a way to add a fillet to a selected group of object (2D sketch mode)?

Is there a reason for the fillets to be put in in the sketch? There exist a couple ways to place several fillets at one time as a feature. There are 2 methods I use for that. The first is by using the Feature selection in the 3d fillet window (right hand side under Select Mode) followed by un-checking all rounds bellow it. The second method is with the Rule Fillet tool under Plastic Part.

Once I've extruded the piece, if I select a group of squares, it wants to add fillets to the top faces (not the inside (4) corners.

I have not used 18 much yet. I'll look into that.

It's a flat plate with many squares, I just need the fillets in all corners.

Can you do it the hard way and then attach the *.ipt file here?

Someone will then show you the easy way.

First thing I notice is that there are a lot of dimensions missing from Sketch1.

When I add the missing dimensions - they come out perfect?

How are you sketching without dimensions?

I suspect Sketch Blocks and feature patterns might be very useful to you.

iFeatures might also be very useful.

Any time you see repeated geometry - there is usually an easier technique than sketching it bit by bit.

It's all offset lines that are clipped. There were many dimensions. These fit individual units. I make many of them, each unique, but to specifications.

I can draw them quickly, I just need to add the fillets in either 2D or 3D quicker.

I will try to get around tomorrow to attaching an example using the Grill feature and Rule Fillet that will significantly reduce your workload.

The Grill command might save you a lot of work.

please do that via ifeature, everything else is too slow (ifeature editable)
