    <description>&lt;P&gt;You don't need to unless you plan to uninstall your old Inventor first.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can go to the various areas of Inventor and export settings files, or just leave the old Inventor installed and migrate them in 2025.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have inventor 2024.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;how would be the best want to export all setting, style and standard to not loose all configuration that I have done in my 2d template, 3d template.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;on SW I can export settings.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;IS there something similar in inventor?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ANd also, how would be the correct way after to import those settings?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, when you first launch Inventor there is a command on the Tools ribbon call 'Migrate settings' that will bring across all your application settings.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can keep all your other settings the same by just using the same project file. Occasionally there might be something missing, such as when we introduced the mark feature there was an extra XML file required, but you can just copy this from the new install to the old one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
