Would it be possible to add more editing features to hole tables?

I'm currently using a hole table to locate 300 plus anchor positions in a concrete plan. Generally this hole table feature works quite well for this but I've come across a few small issues:

Depending on how many points you have, you will eventually need to split the table as required to fit on your drawing. This seems to have somewhat randomly changed the row height on groups of "cells".

The original vertical table seems to set the row height at some minimum value based on your text style. After editing (removing, adding, renaming, etc) these row heights have changed to be larger.

The only fix I have found is to manually go in and grab the bottom line of each row and move them up to reset to this minimum height. This gets rather tedious for large quantities.

Also if there was a way to mass edit tags for renaming/numbering. It seems to be able to only do them on an individual basis (like in a .xls table) again quite tedious and prone to manual error.
