I want it all in my parts list

I have spent all day looking for this answer. Sorry if I could not find it.

I making a carbon fiber, laminate fab drawing & do not want to use AutoCAD.

In one drawing parts list, I need subassemblies, grouping of part quantities, & I want to use part numbers as PIN instead of item or find numbers.

I'm using IV 2018 PRO, structured, all levels, grouping. Once I expand subassemblies, the parts group but the subassemblies are grey out & I cannot make them visible.

Subassembly -200, -300, & -400 share parts & my client does not want individual subassembly or part drawings.

ASME Y14.24-2012 says an assembly drawing is "two or more parts, subordinate assemblies, or a combination of these items." I'd like to identify a subassembly, calling out that detail views are on sheet #, & those details views will callout parts & their detail views.

Hi! For the subassembly of interest, is it possible the BOM structure is set to Reference instead of Normal/Purchase? Could you open the top-level assembly and find the subassembly in the browser and right-click -> BOM structure?
