Creating new punch from existing projects

I've got an existing punch which needs to be 2-3/8" wide with 1/2" height and width. While I can modify the existing punch, it will create a rough geometry as shown in the first image.

My goal is to create as smoother punch such as the ones in image 2 and 3. Unfortunately I get the error of two center punches on the same sketch. Mirroring the revolute won't resolve the issue, and I am attempting to sweep or loft to try and get this to resolve as a sheet metal punch.

Thanks, does the thickness change along with material such as different gauge steel or aluminum?

Looking at my sketch again and see that the louver doesn't have correct thickness.

I don't have 2024 available, I use 2022. How would I need to generate the sweep? I'm not sure if I have the right sketch plane.

I can't get the sweep to process with either export option. If I can get it to do so, it will rotate 90 degrees on the vertical and not meet the sheet metal. Is there another way to setup the sketch?

Because the Sweep used "3d Sketch":

Make sure you pick from a sketch.

First fix Sketch6. Constrain the light blue line and convert those not for sweep to construction:

Then use that line for sweep:

Got issues with generating 3dsketches in the sweep. Is this inherent in the geometry or am I missing something in the sketches? I would need a 1/2" height and depth, with a 2-3/8" wide profile from end to end. I was able to create the punch but had different dimensions.

You picked the wrong edge when Sweep use "3D Sketch".

Don't sketch the profile on model edge.

When sketch and model overlap, it's difficult to pick correct one.

I was able to generate a punch but cant get it to work on sheet metal. Would I need to use the edge on the cutout or the offset edge?

You need a sheet metal Face to put the punch.

I have a sheetmetal part to place the punch but it cannot recognize the punch as it "has no center mark" or too many center marks. My current part has one center mark in the cut feature similar to the prior post. However I cannot export the ifeature and convert to a punch.

This is especially frustrating as I have non consumed linework set as construction lines and have all sketches constrained. The work plane is also constrained, which I believed would affect exporting. Is there anything else I should consider?
