Help With Symbol Font

So I'm trying to use RomanS font as that is the one we use on AutoCAD (consistent); the issue is that symbols are shown with the default font. Is there a way to change that? Attached is a picture showing what I mean.

If you go to the styles under the manage tab you can change it there.

If I go there I can change the text which will change the font for the number/dimension but any added symbol still have that bold look.

If you create a specific font just for your feature control frames you can set it here and you should not see that boldness you describe.

Clicking on the pencil will open the Note Text Setting but here is where I get stuck. I specify the font I want but I can't find a way to change the symbol to RomanS. Perhaps a different setting?

RomanS is a "lightweight" font intended to give that "pencil like" quality associated with hand drawn drawings.....Commonly used in Autocad almost as a "legacy" thing..

Time to give it up and move out of the stone age

Pick a different font

Here we use AutoCAD with the roman font, so I was trying to keep the same font for consistency.

Then try RomanS_IV25 or RomanS_IV50 then instead..

RomanS font should not be used in Inventor..

I'm giving RomanS_IV25 a go but after changing the Text/Note Font in Style Editor my texts are not updating to the new font. When I double click the text it is showing the new font (see picture) but when I select the text it goes back to RomanS. Another thing that I noticed is that the text style is greyed out, why is that? Any options instead of going one by one and changing font?

Is it possible to update the template used by an existing drawing to another one? For example, I have template X, and with that template I create Drawing 1. If I go and change template X title block font using style editor and save it, will opening Drawing 1, then going to manage>style and standards>update, should that update to the latest changes made to template X?

yes in general if you are using a style library and have saved the changes to the style library then upon opening another file that has been already created you can update that local style to use the current style library changes..

I think I found the problem with the title block not updating. I think that the person working on this before imported the Template from AutoCAD because when I open the edit title block the lines are not green they are just black like sketch lines. I did a new template and it works.
